अलीगढ़। मंगलायतन विश्वविद्यालय के पत्रकारिता एवं जनसंचार विभाग द्वारा सोमवार को हिंदी पत्रकारिता दिवस पर संगोष्ठी का आयोजन ईएमपीसी स्टूडि्यों में किया गया। कार्यक्रम का विषय “हिंदी पत्रकारिता : रोजगार व चुनौतियां” था। कार्यक्रम में वक्ताओं द्वारा हिंदी के पहले अखबार उदंत मार्तंड व हिंदी पत्रकारिता के इतिहास पर प्रकाश डाला गया।
कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ विद्यादायनी मां सरस्वती के सम्मुख अतिथियों ने दीप प्रज्ज्वलित करके किया गया। कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए मुख्य अतिथि शिक्षाविद/वरिष्ठ पत्रकार शिवओम शर्मा ने कहा कि पत्रकार शासन व जनता के बीच सेतु का काम करता है। पहले एक दौर था जब चुनिंदा पत्रकार होते थे आज पत्रकारिता में रोजगार की कोई कमी नहीं है। लेकिन उसके लिए स्वयं को साबित करने की आवश्यकता है। रजिस्ट्रार ब्रिगेडियर समरवीर सिंह ने कहा कि लेखक होना गौरव की बात है, पत्रकार बनना चुनौतीपूर्ण है। आज पत्रकारिता में शोध की आवश्यकता है, हालांकि रोजगार के साथ चुनौतियां कम नहीं हैं। एक अच्छे पत्रकार को टीआरपी से ज्यादा देश, दुनिया की चिंता करनी चाहिए। कृषि विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. दानिश नकवी ने कहा कि पत्रकार को अपनी नैतिक जिम्मेदारी का ईमानदारी से पालन करना चाहिए। पाठकों की भी जिम्मेदारी है कि वह क्या पढ़ना पसंद करते हैं। योगेश कौशिक ने कहा कि आज पत्रकारिता से ही लोकतंत्र जिंदा है। अंत में अध्यक्षीय संबोधन में विभागाध्यक्ष डॉ. संतोष गौतम ने सभी को हिंदी पत्रकारिता दिवस की शुभकामनाएं दी। उन्होंने हिंदी पत्रकारिता के इतिहास पर विस्तार से प्रकाश डाला। छात्रा दिव्या शर्मा व छात्र सचिन गुप्ता ने भी अपने विचार रखे। संचालन छात्रा शैलेष्टी पंडित एवं संयोजक मयंक जैन ने आभार व्यक्त किया। इस अवसर पर प्रशासनिक अधिकारी गोपाल सिंह राजपूत, नौहबत सिंह, जितेंद्र शर्मा, विकास वर्मा, मुकेश ठेनुआं के साथ ही छात्र-छात्राएं भी उपस्थित रहे।
